Gabriëlle Rutten is the appointed successor to Gary Craig, founder of Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), and director of Novet – The EFT Standard, the training institute for the official EFT standards. Since January 1, 2026, she has continued his work and assumed full responsibility for all EFT-related activities.
She is a physician who graduated cum laude and a Gary Craig Certified Official EFT™ Master, with more than 25 years of experience in EFT. Since 2009, she has trained professionals internationally and developed programs in line with the official EFT standards, with a strong emphasis on careful and ethical transmission of the original method.
As lead trainer and developer, she is responsible for the Gold Standard EFT training, the Optimal EFT curriculum, and various accredited continuing education programs. She is also the author of EFT from A to Z and EFT for Beginners, in which she presents the principles and application of EFT in a structured and accessible way according to the original standard.
During more than twelve years of intensive collaboration with Gary Craig, she co-hosted nearly all of his 170 webinars and contributed written material for his Optimal EFT lessons and Gold Standard EFT tutorial.
In 2016, he designated her training institute as a Gary Craig Official EFT Center. Since his retirement, he has entrusted all aspects of his EFT work to her as his appointed successor, making her responsible for the continuation and further development of EFT in accordance with its original principles.
