Official EFT can also be a valuable tool for children, from young children to adolescents. Parents, grandparents and other caregivers can learn the basics and use them to help with everyday stress. The way you use EFT should be adapted to the child’s age and needs.
EFT can help you do something meaningful for a child. Everyone experiences difficulties while growing up. These may include anxiety, bullying, problems at school, illness, loss or an unsafe home situation. Children with ADHD, autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or dyslexia may also experience stress in the situations they face. EFT is intended to help address stress responses and experiences; it is not a treatment for ADHD, ASD or dyslexia.
Every child is unique and deserves an approach that suits them. How can you use EFT with children?
